My body is not who I am. I am my soul, my heart, my brain, my morals, my beliefs. I am my actions. And I feel sorry for the people who look at me and just judge me because I’m fat. But you know what? Look at me, call me fat, because I don’t care. Fat is not the worst thing somebody can be, ugly is not the worst thing somebody can be. The worst thing somebody can be is low enough to make someone feel like they don’t even belong here because they don’t “fit in.” Let me tell you something about fitting in. You may not fit in with one group, whatever fitting in means, but you’ll fit in with somebody else. One person may not think you’re beautiful, but somebody else will. And one person may not want to fall in love with you but somebody else will, and there is somebody out there thinking about you wanting to be with you, and that’s the beautiful thing about life. It’s like the biggest oxymoron there is. Life is not meant to be lived wishing you were someone else, that’s the biggest waste of time. You are all beautiful and you deserve the life you want.

I’ve seen this video and to me, looking at her body disgusts me; not because I’m a shallow, judgmental person and she doesn’t have the ideal body “society shoves down our throats”, but because it’s so ridiculously unhealthy. Unless she has some sort of disorder, she has chosen to be that way through extreme unhealthy eating and lack of exercise. It disgusts me that she and other people like her live that way. God has given you a body and yes you should embrace and love it and accept it as they will come in the many different shapes and sizes that we see, but it is also your job to TAKE CARE OF IT and this girl is clearly not doing that. We need to stop patting this girl on the back for deciding to live proudly with this obesity. Why?
